SECURITY FOCUS
Windows 2000 Security Handbook. This book gets a 5 star rating on Amazon.Com Windows 2000 Security Handbook
Deploy and administer bullet-proof Windows 2000 security policies. This book explains how to safeguard intranet, Internet, and e-commerce transactions with IPSec, defend against hacking, spoofing, sniffing, and DDS attacks, and secure your network with firewalls, proxy servers, and VPNs.
Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing initiative relies in part on architects and administrators to take security seriously. If you use WSH within your organization then you should consider deploying the security features offered by WSH 5.6. Andrew Clinick's article Providing a Secure eXPerience has a good overview of the features and I have put together a quick check list on how to install a Certificate Server so that you can sign your own scripts.
