the new Vancouver Tartan Army website click here The Vancouver Tartan Army serves the west of Canada (BC & AB). Our homebase is the Firefighter's Club in Burnaby, British Columbia. We are currently searching for venues in Calgary and Edmonton to secure viewing of the upcoming 2010 World Cup Qualifiers. Please contact Sean Sneddon for Edmonton and Scott Sneddon for Calgary. On June 8th, 1998 a band of 9 footsoldiers from Vancouver met up with a solitary footsoldier in the heart of Glasgow, and embarked on a journey south to the WORLD CUP in France. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of that memorable trip. The original 10 were; Sean Sneddon, Scott Sneddon, David Fletcher, Kevin Fraser, Graham Brown, John Brown, Simon Heaney, James Leitch and Thomas Boag. The past ten years have gone by very quickly and very seldom do the "Original 10" get a chance to swally and talk about that memorable trip. We have grown into quite a group and the turnout of 250+ at the past Italy game is testiment. We plan to celebrate our 10 years, albeit in 2009, at the AWAY World Cup Qualifier in Holland.
