There are plenty of sessions to choose from
On Monday there is a session in Sharky's in the Gorbals (just behind the
Citizen's Theatre under the railway arches).  This was once lead by Jimmy
McHugh, who is no longer with us.  The session is now lead by his son Benny.

On Wednesday night, the session is in the Lios Mor on Dumbarton Road in
Partick. It's a lively session with a mix of both Irish and Scottish tunes.  One of
the easiest ways to get to the Lios Mor is to get on the underground, and
get off at Kelvinhall, turn right, and you are about 2 mins away.

The best Irish session in Glasgow is held in The Victoria Bar on the Briggait (corner of Stockwell St on the banks of the Clyde).

There are many other sessions on other days as well.
