I shoot my movie footage with my Olympus C-740UZ digital still camera's movie mode, so it's not as good as footage shot with an actual video camera. However, it still demonstrates the motions and postures of the naturals well enough for fly tying purposes. The movies are in the Quicktime movie format, and if you have trouble viewing them you may need to download a more recent version of the free player from Apple's website. I use Quicktime because it allows you to easily pause the movie at any point and view it frame by frame, which is an exercise I really recommend for anyone studying the swimming motions of these insects.
