The Federal Aviation Administration
The FAA site contains information on Aviation Education, Aviation Safety, Traveler Briefing, Newsroom, Regulatory/Advisory, Certificiation, Air Traffic, their publications and alot more.
The Experimental Aircraft Association
The EAA site is a great place for updated information in the aviation world. There are chapter info and schedules and workshop schedules. They also have a section for kids and the Young Eagles program. Their publications and fly-ins are listed on the site also. There are alot of free things on the site and even more available if you are a member.
The Popular Rotorcraft Association
This site is mainly geared towards gyrocraft but does have helicopter information also. The picture pages, chapter info, upcoming events and their publication are just some of the interesting links.
Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association
The non-member links include NOTAM's, FAQ's, taxi diagrams, avation classifieds, on online gallery and more. Members benefits are too many to list, just click above and explore.

National Transportation Safety Board - Aviation Division
This site deals with the safety of aviation. There are discussions and information about aviation safety, Accident Synopses, Major Investigations, Aviation Accident Statistics, a link to report and accident and more.

The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is a non-profit, professional trade association of over 1,400 member organizations from 70 nations. Since 1948, HAI has been dedicated to promoting the helicopter as a safe and efficient method of transportation, and to the advancement of the civil helicopter industry.
This association is mainly for the big boys but still a good source for information.
