air assault badge - Members of the 1 st. cav. div., 101arb., and the americal div. are trying to get the ARMY to approve the original air assault badge for those who served at FT. BENNING, GA. and other locations. This is for those that had air assault training before the VIETNAM WAR or during the WAR. During the war, we want a combat air assault badge to. The 101 has a badge that was approved AFTER the war was over. All of us that made combat assaults should recieve that new badge as well. At least that is what I think.
