Rose Moore
Director
Rose M. Moore, Navajo Housing Authority (NHA)/ Navajo Nation is currently the Purchasing Supervisor for the NHA. Her responsibilities include directing and monitoring the daily operations of the department. She currently oversees a staff of five which includes four buyers and an administrative assistant. As the Navajo Nation is very large the housing authority has divided the reservation into five (5) districts for procurement activities for construction. The five districts also include fifteen (15) housing management offices that oversee and maintain the housing units for our low-income families.
As the Navajo Housing Authority currently acts as the Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE) it is very important that her office follows the Federal Procurement and the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA) regulations.
Rose is an enrolled memeber of the Navajo Tribe. She is a wife and a mother of three beautiful daughters. She enjoys traveling, sight seeing, reading, watching movies, attending her dauther's basketball games and most of all spending time with her family.
Rose is honored to sit on the NNaPA's Board of Directors this year. She would like to personally thank those attendees for their votes this year. She looks forward to working with the board to provide another excellent annual training next year in Arizona .
