I am 14 years old and will be 15 on Feb.9 2001. I found out that I had scoliosis in March of '99.I was in grade 7.
I had my surgry on Sept.25th of 2000 and was in the hospital a week.I was on the childeren's ward, room 2 for the last weekend of my stay, but I was in I.C.U. for most of the week. Being in the hospital was one of the worst experiances of my life and I am so glad to be home again. Once here things got alot better. I started tutoring and plan to return to school after Christmas in January. Online I have met many new friends,but none in my situation.With this site I hope some friendships will be made on common ground.
