Hi my name is Frank Schlichting, I  am 45, single and own a cattle ranch in Northeastern BC about an hour North of Ft St John. The ranch presently has 800 acres but also cut hay on some rented land.   I have 125  mostly Angus cows that start calving in mid April the calves are kept for 18 months and sold as yearlings.   I am busy building a new farmstead, clearing land and setting up a sawmill.  I had been working in the oilpatch driving truck but decided to sell the truck and ranch full time. The main reason for the site is that I am looking for a partner ( female )  to join me in my "retirement"  I don't have horses but if the right woman came along I could be talked into some, I had them in the past but don't need them any more.  I rode a Harley years ago but sold it and bought a Poweredparachute that I still fly.
