| Molly
Velvet, soft, a tiny ball of fur snuggled under sawdust and cosy bedding; softly sleeping, gently dreaming of food, of warmth, of running and playing, of friendly hands holding and human voices talking.
Now, eyes opening slowly a yawn, a luxurious stretch, little head poking out of the nest: 'Mummy, did you say "dinner"?'
Nose twitching, sniffing the air, there's definitely something good up there! Scurrying up tubes, twisting and turning Dinner is waiting - a veritable feast!
Time for a wash - paws, face and ears, then its back down those tubes for a run in the wheel before bedtime comes calling, sweet dreams beckoning, and its back into the nest to cuddle up warm.
Sleep, little Molly, you're safe and you're sound You're cared for and loved by one of the best mums around!
