Billy & Davey ~ A Tale of Two Hamsters....

This is a hamster poem for two people - get a friend and read along! It's a challenge to do this properly, but with practice it can be such a joy. If there's a blank space ( . ) on your side, just wait while your friend says their line. If you both have a line, say it together! Easy? Easy! Note that the last part is done in "rounds", and can be very confusing. Have Fun!

and now say it twice!

They go together
Like biscuits and gravy!

And funny and silly!

Each day at twilight

And Billy and Davey
Will start to make sounds.

In his wheel
All night long
Running

and running
Around!

Davey runs too,

Nibbling and snacking
.
A little of this
.
He eats oh so much
That he's turned out quite fat!

Comes back around
.
And they start to bed down.

Goodnight dear Davey
.
When the moonlight comes back!

So don't worry Billy
.

A nice tasty snack!
