I currently have one hamster (a Syrian) named Patrick Star (My 6 year old daughter named him after one of her favorite Sponge Bob Square Pants characters!) I absolutely love hamsters and absolutely love this website! I am very honored to be a part of the HG team! I am constantly reading and learning more and more about hamsters daily. I am hoping one of these days to have at least one litter of babies.

I'm 45, married, have one adult son. Hubby and I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and our hammie, Lucy. I am also into doing miniatures/dollhouses and I am a computer geek. I keep one hammie at a time, since I'm not wanting to have babies around. This way, I can enjoy all my animals and spend quality time with them. Couldn't keep up if I had multiple hammies. I do admire those folks who ARE into breeding, and I love to read all the baby stories.

We have many litters a year.Our goals are to improve the overall body type, size, temperament, strengthen the genotypes,breed pure lines,coats types,colors and patterns with what we are working with. All of our hamsters are breed to BHA and NHC show standards.

Firstly, let me say this is a great website where excellent advice and suggestions are given. Currently, I have Fatt (wwdwarf) whom I treat like my son. :) About 15 years ago, I used to keep syrians (est. about 4 of them). I used to breed them (not professionally though) and sell them off to local pet shops. I wanted to get a syrian this time, however not many are sold in Singapore. So far, those sold are in their adult stage. I prefer to handle animals from young.

I have a hamster named half-breed, he is one of most adorable hamsters I've had. This is my eleventh hamster I've had. I guess i m one of the younguest members of this site, i am thirteen and a half years old and I LOVE animals!! My first pet was a Parrot then I had two bunnies, they passed away now. Mu familly now has a dog, Newton, and a kitten of 4 month of age, she is a Korat and her name is Moka ( it rhimes)and I am plannig on buying my own kitty soon when I get some money from babysitting ans stuff. I had two baby dwarf hamsters wich passed away two weeks after I got them fron a paralizing desiese, now I have my beloved Pumkin wich I take great care of!! I give her treats but not too much!! and lots of fresh water too!I also play Travel soccer cause I wanna play proffessional when I grow up! and I love this site and all the members are very nice!
