For weeks I was sitting begging to get a hamster. Of course I did extensive research, and my mother finally said yes! I was dancing around the room! (Really I was!) So we got the cage and all the items...A Crittertrail two cage, to be exact.

We went in around six p.m., and I ran to the hamster section. It was near the fish. I looked them all over. They had dwarfs but not Campbell's. They were winter whites.

I looked and looked. I couldn't decide. Then my sister came up and pointed a hamster out and said "How about this one?" I walked over and there she was...Taffy running on her wheel, as energetic as she is now.

My mom went to talk to the pet store person, and another let me examine Taffy. She was female. No signs of sickness at all. Her coat was cinnamon on her front and backside and white on the middle and bottom. I thought for awhile and thought of naming her Oreo, but my sister said Taffy. So we agreed on it. If we found a male, it would have been Kirby or Kulock.

So we bought her and took her home. She is really sweet and energetic to this day.... :-D
