Although DynCorp International is an award receiptient of the new 7 year IDIQ CFT Basic Contract, our current contract has been extended through 28 January 2009 to facilitate the awarding of the new Task Orders. According to the CFT Support team out of Tinker AFB the new Task Orders will be awarded sometime in December 2008, with a start date of February 1, 2009. Many changes will take effect under the new contract, the biggest being that no awardee is gaurenteed a certain geographical area as has been the case for the last 50+ years. Every awardee will have the opportunity to bid on any and all task orders issued against the basic contract. That being said, AMCOM plans to break down it's OLR sites (TASMS/RASMS) into geographic regions, however they will all be up for grabs no less than every two years, and all up for grabs as soon as the performance work statements are issued to the contractors.
