DynCorp lost one of it's prized Family Members recently, Mr. Ike Jackson passed away on the 9th of June. Our hearts go out to all his loved ones.... He will be sorely missed.

 

Ike Bowen Jackson
1933 - 2005
Ike Bowen Jackson, 71, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2005, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Ike Bowen Jackson was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Dickens County. He was employed for 45 years with Dyn Corp. Ike was very active with Operation Orphans in Mason. To the teachers and student body at Ridglea Hills Elementary School, he was affectionately known as "granddad."

Survivors: Wife of 49 and a half years, Jean Jackson; sons, William "Skip" Jackson and wife, Sharon, and David Jackson; daughter, Martha Green and Lee Keffer; grandchildren, Will, Michael, Carly, Cub, Christopher, John and Steven; eight great-grandchildren, including Sean, whom he was raising; two sisters; five brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
