Advanced Level Skate
|
Aimed at Advanced skaters - relatively fast skaters who can skate in control at speed, can stop well even on a downhill, can negotiate turns with confidence at speed, comfortable skating in large close groups. Can negotiate curbs and railroad tracks when called for. Comfortable skating on brick or cobblestone streets.

Aggressive Style Skating

Not a CFTB skating style! We do not support aggressive style skating at our events.

Beginner Level Skate
|
Aimed at Beginner skaters - skaters who can skate marginally, have difficulty slowing & stopping, not able to negotiate turns without slowing significantly first.

Fitness Skating
|
Skating at a faster pace, over longer distances, and at higher heart beat rates with the intent of improving one's fitness.

|
Group Skate
|
All skaters stay basically together in a single group, or multiple groups according to speed and skills.

|
Inline Marathon
|
A full marathon is over a distance of 26.2 miles, a half marathon is 13.1 miles. These usually incorporate several skill and age categories.

Intermediate Level Skate
|
Aimed at Intermediate skaters - relatively middle speed skaters who can skate in control, stop and turn with reasonable confidence, becoming comfortable skating in groups and on irregular sufraces.

Recreational Skating
|
Skating just for personal enjoyment, usually alone or with a few other skaters on paved trails.

Speed Skating
|
Competition skating for pure speed over a specified distance. CFTB did have adult and youth outdoor racing teams - Team Orange (*Currently Inactive*). We still have speed skaters in our group however.

Urban/Metro Skate
|
A skate around greater downtown Orlando on public sidewalks and streets. This is NOT Agressive Style Skating! Should be able to (or willing to learn how to) negotiate curbs and railroad tracks. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS, AND EVERYONE SKATES AT THEIR OWN RISK!
