| GENERAL INFORMATION FOR EVENT VENDORS
 38th ANNUAL BEDFORD HOLIDAY ARTS, CRAFTS & MORE EXTRAVAGANZA November 1 & 2, 2008 Bedford Elementary School (Intersection of Hwy. 460 & Rt. 122) Bedford, VA
Show hours will be Saturday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM - 4:00. **Set up will be on Saturday, November 1, from 7:00 - 9:00 AM.** This is a JURIED show, featuring only HANDMADE and ORIGINAL works created by the vendor. Absolutely NO RESALE commercially manufactured items will be considered for the event (i.e. jewelry that is not designed and made by crafter, Beanie Babies, Tupperware, Avon, etc.) Our goal is to promote the talents of area artisans, crafters, authors, singers, and musicians. We require that first time participants or anyone who has not been in the event in the last two years to be juried. You will need to send 3 photographs or a sample of your work along with your application for our panel’s review. Your photographs or sample will be returned to you, along with your confirmation if accepted. If not accepted, your items will be returned with your check. Booth spaces are approximately 8’x10’ in the gym and cafeteria. Hallway spaces lead from the entrance and are 4.5’x12’. These spaces are $50 each. The booths in the gym and cafeteria fill the fastest. In addition, we offer small booths of 4.5'x6' in the hallways for those vendors who do not need as much space for $30 each. A limited number of 10’x10’ outdoor spaces are also available for food & other vendors for $50 each. NO TABLES, CHAIRS OR TENTS ARE PROVIDED - You must bring your own. Spaces with electrical outlets are very limited. All spaces are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that no food items be sold in the indoor booths as food will be provided by outside vendors. Also, please keep in mind that there is to be no smoking on the school property. ALL SELLERS ARE EXPECTED TO KEEP THEIR BOOTHS OPEN FROM BEGINNING OF SHOW UNTIL THE SHOW CLOSES AT 4:00 PM ON SUNDAY. A $75 cash prize will be awarded to the best booth display, runner up will receive one free booth space ($50 value) in next year’s event.
