Here is what we are doing with some ideas on how you can join in.<o:p></o:p>

1. We have created a sample "Letter to the Editor" that you can print out (modify if you wish) and send to your area newspapers. (This sample letter is included  at our website. <o:p></o:p>
2. We have posted a list of recommended ADHD books for all ages at our website.
3. Our Board members and Director wrote Letters to the Editor which will be sent to over 100 major newspapersView these letters. <o:p></o:p>
4. From Sep 14-20, we are hosting free audiorecordings at our website that can be listened to over your computer speakers :

FYI- There is a new ADHD Support Group for adults in Chicago, across from the John Hancock building that meets on Friday nights.  I hope topost all of that group's info within a week. 

They have met for about 6 weeks and have at least 6-8 people to recent meetings. ...

We still meet in Park Ridge, every Wednesday night, 7:30pm-9pm, unless there is extreme weather or Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve(too many accidents on the roads that night) or 4th of July lands on Wednesday.

 

While The 12 Steps are still part of what we discuss, They are no longer a central focus of every meeting.
