Woodworking Community Policies

Rule 1: have a good time, share information, ask and answer questions, share pointers to good websites and other resources, just about anything as long is it is about Woodworking.

Rule 2: don't post blatant advertisements for your business, or pyramid schemes, or anything that is not related to woodworking or this community. If you want to let people know about your woodworking related business, don't post in the messageboard, post a link in the Links list in the left menu.

If anyone posts anything that violates the two rules, let me know by sending Mail to Managers. Include your e-mail address if you want a personal reply, as the Mail to Managers mail I get doesn't include your return address. I will remove the post, and/or the user, at my discretion. There are only two rules, so it should be pretty clear and easy to follow them, but there are always some who can't. ;-)

Policy Statement on Businesses wishing to do self-promotion:

To clarify, if you want to promote your woodworking related business, please do not post spam in the Messageboard. It will be deleted immediately, and you may be banned from the community, permanently.

What you may do is post a link and message in the Links category in the left menu. Just the "Links" category, not any other list of weblinks. And please keep your images and text to a reasonable size. Any huge or offensive items will be deleted without notice.

Thanks for your cooperation.
Brian,
Community Manager
