CAMELOT OPENINGS
There are few recorded games of Camelot available for study. Therefore, any thorough analysis of Camelot openings must wait for a probably over optimistic, much anticipated increase in interest in the game. The recorded games on this website may provide some opening ideas, but much further study is obviously needed before drawing any valid conclusions.
One minor point of interest regarding the openings is that of the one hundred possible first moves by White, twelve immediately lose material: D6-D8, I6-I8, F6-D8, G6-I8, D7-D8, I7-I8, E7-D8, H7-I8, E7-E8, H7-H8, F7-G8, and G7-F8.
