4/20/2008	Run	Meet 1000 leave 1015, Waterloo Place, run to Troon Leaving Edinburgh via Lothian Rd, Morningside, via Ski slope, heading out the A702 to Biggar, still following the A702 to Abington, we then take the B797 to Leadhills, wanlockhead (Wanlockhead is the highest inhabited village in Scotland) Stopping at the Lead mining museum for lunch (this is in the centre of the village of Wanlockhead). 1 hour stop, then continueing down the hill to Menoch Pass a great open area just a mile down the road, ideal for camping in june july aug.at the bottom of this road we turn left onto A76 heading for Cumnock were we turn left onto the A70 to Ayr, then the A77 to TROON. On the return we take the A71 all the way back to Edinburgh.

5/4/2008	Run	Summer Time Running Meet 0900 leave 0930, Waterloo Place, run to Wanlockhead (via Biggar), head out to Penicuik, take the right turn, at the petrol stn, passed Penicuik High School to Biggar, stop here for famous Ice Cream. Then onto Abington, Leadhills, Wanlochhead. Scotlands highest inhabited village, Wanlockhead. Also has the lead mining museum from here the gold was used to make the Scottish Crown Jewels, and a minature railway, Coffee/smoke here, down the Menoch Pass, pause, paddle in burn, at the T junction, Left to Dumfries,The Sands, then onto Moffat, St Marys Loch for coffee,then Peebles for fish n Chips and return to Edinburgh.

5/23/2008	Weekend away	Meet 0900 leave 0930, Waterloo Place, run to Inverness, Camping, Bucht Park Friday night to Monday morning. Sat to Black Isle Fortrose and Cromarty see the Dolphins. Sun to A82 Loch Ness and Nessy Mon A9, Aviemore, Pitlochry and Home Some riders are leaving on Thursday afternoon, others Friday, and a group are leaving on Saturday.
