Featuring some of our youths

This group as certainly an arsenal of professional fly tyers and two of the best of the best in the entire Great Lakes region, Fisher-man36 and Theriverkid. These two youths took this sport by storm and both also can fly cast a mean fly line as well!

Theriverkid as developed a few fly patterns of his own, proven very effective and has also tied professionally for a local fly shop. Theriverkid is a member of the Thunder Bay Fly Fishers and also took the Thunder Bay Fly Fishers by being a credit with his fly tying skills winning all of the fly tying contests at a very young age! His goals for the furure is to become a marine biologist.

Fisher-man36 not only ties flies for the Great Lakes region but also ties flies that he fly fishes with in Alberta and BC. water as well! His flies are a real treat to see! Fisher-man36 is also an active member of the Thunder Bay Fly Fishers. He also fly fishes in some of Michigan's best summer trout rivers as well as fly fishing in Montana.

Clayflyfisher is just another youth that knows how to hook big fish that alot of us just dream of catching. As you can see in the photo above, Clayflyfisher is one of the youngest members of the Thunder Bay Fly Fishers.

I certainly know that these youths are certainly weaving their way up in the future of this sport and we can all expect to hear more from this trio in the future!
