Hi, welcome.

 This site is needed because there are too many abusers disguised as mentors, who abuse children in the name of therapy. This site is about the experiances of myself and others. Most of us here at the site were residents of " The Elan School" in Poland Springs, Maine. I arrived there at the age of thirteen and left the day before i turned seventeen. Please feel free to visit any of the threads on the message board, there are ways on top of the page of the message board that will help guide you to threads archived or whatever they call it now.  There are times when intervention is needed for teens, my own included. I'm not against that.  I do however, want to make known what myself and others went through so that it can be avoided by someone else. I hope you find whatever it is your looking for.
