How Do I Cut and Paste?

Cutting and pasting is a very simply procedure that will take a lot of work out of your posts.  You use it for adding text or graphics from another source. 

Step 1

Highlight the item you want to cut and paste.  Do this by taking the mouse and left-clicking and holding it as you highlight that item by dragging the mouse over it. 

Step 2

Once you have highlighted the item you want, right-click on it.  That brings up a sub-menu.  In that sub-menu, choose "Cut."  Or you can press CTRL+C to copy the highlighted item.

Step 3

Now that you have the item copied, you need to place it into the document or message you want.  Make sure you have the cursor exactly where you want the paste to occur.  Once in that document or message, press CTRL+V to paste it.  Or you can use the mouse by right-clicking it again and chosing "Paste" from the menu.
