I have presently written two booklets which I hope will help the devotional life of good-willed Catholics. Many today want to be devout and to please God, but they often don't even have the basics to do this. Therefore, I have compiled these booklets.
The first booklet is called Attention Catholics. It has information on a variety of subjects including the last four things (with a special section on Purgatory), how to act in church (we must not talk), the proper dispositions for receiving Holy Communion (it isn't enough to receive often, we must be well prepared and take ample time for thanksgiving), the elements necessary for good Confessions, and a long section on modesty. Most of the teaching comes from the lives of the Saints. The appendix contains an examination of conscience.
The second booklet is entirely about proper Christian modesty and relies heavily on the words of the Popes, the Saints and on tradition for support. There are some words of Pope Pius XII on this subject that have perhaps never been seen in a booklet on modesty before. ~Robert T. Hart
