Had a dream the other night
That while walking down the lane
A tiny bird came flying by

I had been sad and lonely
my day was very drab
I needed color in my life
I needed a friend real bad
On a branch I saw a movement
I heard a happy song
The sight along with music
Made my heart beat strong
God had sent a rainbow
to brighten up my day
He knew just what I needed
He has that "special" way
That dream I'll always remember
The rainbow from above
That little multi-colored bird
Sent to me with love
