My House is a Home

I love to go on trips and such

It’s fun to travel and roam

but still my greatest enjoyment

Is when I return to my home

Seeing sights I’ve never seen

Like an oceans rolling foam

does not deter the enjoyment

of returning to my home

Just somethin’ extra special

about that little “abode” of mine

Why even when it’s stormin’ out

Inside the sun will shine

Perhaps someday you’ll visit

stop in for coffee or tea

let me share the reasons
