March 2007 President’s Message
Hello to Everyone,
Spring is just around the corner and the Piedmont Society is buzzing with activity. Our speaker for the March 13th dinner meeting will be Joshua Kunkel from Applied NanoWorks and he will be presenting “ADVANTAGE Nano-Additives: The Clear Choice”. This presentation should be very informative for our formulators. Our biennial Trade Show and Symposium is set for Friday April 20, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Airport-Greensboro. The website will be updated as information comes available. The Entertainment Committee has organized the Spring Golf Outing at Lake Lure for May 4 & 5, 2007.
We’d like to thank again our speaker from last month Ted Williams for his presentation of “Water based Rheology with Laponite Clays?”. His presentation was well received by everyone attending this meeting. Also, congratulations to David Healy for being the winner of our $50.00 drawing. Remember to put in your reservation and you could be the winner at the next meeting.
