Sweet Pea was my soulmate and my "special" one. She was the absolute sweetest dog we have ever shared our lives with. Even at 14-1/2 years, she still loved the shows and came with me to most of the shows to root her kids on!
In the showring, Sweet Pea earned multiple group placements, AM & CAN National Specialty Awards of Merit, Regional Specialty BOS wins & Awards of Merit, Specialty Bests & BOS's in Veterans Sweeps and has been Best Brood Bitch at 35+ Specialties, including three AM & two CAN National Specialties.
We were thrilled when at 11-1/2 yrs, Sweet Pea won Best Opposite Sex and Best Veteran in Sweeps at North Carolina's first Regional Specialty. She always enjoys her outings in the showring and loves showing the "kids" how it's done!
Sweet Pea is the mother of 19 AKC champions, several CKC champions & several dual champions. She was the BCCA's top brood bitch for 1999 and is the BCCA #4 all-time brood bitch.
Among her kids are AM & CAN National Specialty Award of Merit winners, numerous Regional Specialty BOS & Award of Merit winners, National Specialty WD, several RWD, & RWB, numerous Regional Specialty WD, WB, RWD, & RWB, multiple group winners and group placers and top ten ranked beardies. Her kids have produced excellent kids themselves - who have also been National & Regional Specialty WD, WB, RWD, RWB, & Award of Merit winners, Specialty BOB winners, multiple group winners and group placers and top ten ranked specials.
We were so priveleged to share our lives with Sweet Pea. She was so special and we loved her so.
