Sawyer is so sweet and good natured. Although I repeated this breeding for a black boy or girl of my own, we got Sawyer instead - and we couldn't be happier with him or love him more!
Sawyer finished his championship at the 1999 BCCA National Specialty as Winners Dog, Select #10 & BOS in Sweeps at 16 months, earning Specialty RWD & class wins, & four majors along the way. After growing adult coat, he has re-entered the showring, earning several BOB's, Select #8 at the 2001 BCCA National Specialty, Select #3 at the 2001 NCBCF Regional Specialty, and Select #2 at the 2001 GLBCC Regional Specialty.
We neglected Sawyer and had to shave him down after not grooming him for 6 months. While we (impatiently) waited for his coat to grow back, his kids have made him proud in the showring. He is close to earning his ROMX, and his son Finn was RWD at both the 2006 Michigan & 2007 National Capital Regional Specialties.
