2005 BCCC National Specialty - Best in Veteran Sweeps

Breeder/Judge Ms Rebecca Copus

Indy is Sweet Pea's first born.  He is always happy & looking for action.  Indy is one of the easiest dogs to live with, but he is quite the boisterous brat in the showring.  Still, he has earned multiple group wins and group placements and a Specialty Award of Merit.  I am usually busy with his brothers and sisters or his kids, so most of the time, Indy has been showed by others and he takes it all in stride.

Still active in conformation, agility and obedience at 12 years, Indy earned some nice wins and several titles.  He was Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at the 2005 Bearded Collie Club of Canada National Specialty under breeder/judge Rebecca Copus.  Indy also earned his Rally Novice and Rally Advanced titles in three straight shows and added some more "agility initials" to his name - qualifing in three straight shows again.

Indy's kids have shined at the specialties.  Six "kids" have been Winners Dog or Bitch at the National & Regional Specialties, one earned a National Specialty award of merit, two have been reserve winners, and several have been Best in Sweeps.

Indy earned his ROM when his son Garth finished with WD at the GLBCC 2000 Regional.  At other specialties, his daughter Savannah was WB at the 1997 NWBCCPS Regional, daughter Jazzy RWB in 2000, daughter Letty Penn Reserve Best in Sweeps & BOS in Sweeps at the 1996 Canadian National, and son Zorro earned an Award of Merit at the 2000 BCCA National Specialty.  His son Parker has earned two Specialty Best in Sweeps, a Specialty Winners Dog & several specialty bred-by class wins, including the 2002 National Specialty.  His daughter, Meadow's Tango for Two was WB at the 2004 Chicagoland Regional Specialty.

We were especially thrilled when his son "Alec", Meadow's Truth or Dare earned Winners Dog from the 9-12 puppy class at the 2001 BCCA National Specialty.  He had earlier won Best Puppy at the Canadian National Specialty and Best in Sweeps at the BCCSEM regional specialty.
