Orophin, Bowman of Lorien
If we thought Haldir was mysterious then here's an Elf just as mysterious or more than Haldir. Mr. Mysterious Elf hereby presents: Orophin!
Orophin is one of Haldir's brothers. Younger or older is unknown. The brother of Lorien's marchwarden is also one of the Sentinels of the Golden Woods.
We have not been able to see this Silvan Elf in action yet, but we mayhap can get our chance in the Extended DVD version of FOTR which will be released on November 12. Rumours go that on that version a scene is added in which the Sentinels of Lorien battle the Orcs that have followed the Fellowship out of Moria into Lothlorien.
Surely he has not become a Sentinel for nothing, so he must possess some very good fighting skills. According to the Decipher Card about him, he has a very swift bow.
Together with Haldir and his other brother Rumil, Orophin is one of the few Lorien Elves that every once in a while venture outside of Lothlorien to gain news of the outside world. He also knows a little bit of the western tongue, but we never hear him speak.
After the Orcs have crossed through Lothlorien, Orophin is the one to warn the other Elves and make sure no Orc gets to leave the golden woods.
Other than that, the above pictures show that this Silvan Elf Sentinel of Lorien is also incredibly gorgeous and that's why he has deserved a place here in this group.
