After careful consideration and in light of the current economic conditions the Executive Board and the Members of Mid-Michigan Cat Fanciers, Inc. have voted to suspend operations until further notice.

Mid-Michigan has always been known for producing high quality shows, at first class venues.  Current economic conditions have caused significant increases in show hall costs, as well as hotel, and airline prices.  We know that our valued exhibitors have also felt the pinch of rising prices in gas, food and lodging required to attend the shows.  We feel it is not fair to the exhibitors, the cats or the fancy to continually raise our prices and force more and more people out of the fancy.

We deeply regret that we have no alternative but to suspend operations until economic conditions improve and we feel we can continue to provide the excellent show experience you have come to expect of Mid-Michigan.  Mid-Michigan Cat Fanciers, Inc. maintains it’s status as a not for profit Michigan Corporation and continues to be a member in good standing with Cat Fanciers Association, Inc.
