Perpetual Trophy Standings for 2001
The President's Trophy is a perpetual trophy awarded to the pilot with the highest combined score of the Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn Fun-Fly contests. The winner of the trophy holds the trophy for the coming year until the annual Christmas Fun-Fly, at which time it will pass on to the next trophy winner for a year.

The Contest Director's Trophy is a perpetual trophy awarded to the pilot who's scores for each contest are consistently the closest to that of the winner. The total score of each contestant is divided by the score of the winner of the contest to yield the decimal equivalent of that ratio. Here's an example. If the winner scores 900 points, his/her score is 1.000000000. If contestant #2 scores 450, the decimal equivalent is 0.500000000 (the number is carried to nine decimal places). Contestant #3 with a score of 600 would have a decimal equivalent of 0.666666667. The key to this trophy is scoring consistently near the top all the time. These are the top ten pilots this year. As with the President's Trophy, the C.D.'s Trophy will be held by the winner for the up-coming year.
