Welcome to M.I.S.O.'s (Maui Island Soaring Organization) new website.  This site was created to help M.I.S.O. members and others keep in touch with what's happening in the r/c soaring community on Maui and around the rest of the world.  It is here for your enjoyment so please let us know how we can improve it.  Please keep your postings related to flying.

***Our Maluhia site is now officially sanctioned and recognized by the AMA!  AMA is now required to fly at this field.  No exceptions!   Club membership is also required unless you are flying as a guest of a member.  New members need to click on the "Join M.I.S.O. Now!" section to the left and download your application for 2008.  Existing renewing members can mail their check for $20.00 annual dues to the club treasurer Ron Roos at P.O. Box 419, Kula HI  96790.***

I suggest that flyers living on Maui visit the M.I.S.O. News page often and also check the Maui weather before heading out to the slopes.  "Live" wind speed, direction, gust, temp, humidity and radar reports from Randy's Weather Station in Wailuku can be viewed at http://www.ah6gr.net  Fun-Fly results are posted there along with breaking news about flying sites and situations, club meetings, etc.
