Ventrue
Queen Anne.
6th generation Ventrue, ruler of the city, supported by Diogenes Club Coterie. For more information, see Children of the Night.
In this version of the WoD, Anne was secretly responsible for the death of Mithras, tipping off the Lupines through an ally in the Tremere.
Current Status: With the Sabbat in town, Anne has moved her base of operations from Hampstead to Swiss Cottage, where she happily runs her War Council and draws on boons from across the world. It should not be forgotten that she effectively financed the taking of New York an is owed by a great many Kindred.
Status 4, Clan Prestige 4
UPDATE: Anne has fled to a base of the coast of the Country, from where she continues to fight her war for control of London. In doing so she has effectively made all of Southern England her domain, though the true prize, the city itself, remains out of her grasp
Aaron Oliver
Ventrue, the Queen’s Sheriff; a hard but fair man who feels that the current hostilities between the Tremere and the Ventrue are weakening London and leaving her open to the Sabbat (whom he hates with a passion).
Aaron is tall and powerfully built, a Scots Guard in life, he look the part of a sergeant major, complete with red face and huge handlebar moustache.
Current Status: Oliver is dead, murdered in the opening scene of the Chronicle by Daniel Grey.

Lord Reed
Ventrue, Anne’s Seneschal. Reed is the perfect civil servant; his memory is seemingly photographic and his loyalty has never wavered. He also seems to be quite good with a knife.
Current Status: It has been revealed that Reed is in fact the run away childe of Marquis Blackthorn; originally a political tool for Anne to keep her supporter in place, Reed showed himself to be worth investing in. Much of his original status and finances have come from Anne; what Anne does not know, however, is that Reed has been making in roads himself into the areas of power, and as such he has reached beyond the allowance she has given him.
Anne was once Mithras’ Seneschal, and look what happened to her…

Nathaniel Travis
Barely an ancillae and Travis has control of the busiest airport in the world: Heathrow. Young, smart and able to play the political game exceedingly well, Travis is seen as something of an annoyance by his elders. Through his contacts with The Youth Brigade (see Tobias Bennett), Travis has a strong hold on the air traffic of London. He has been noted as one of the watch for the future.
Current Status: Dominion Warchild has made Travis an offer he cannot refuse and Travis has found himself part of the Sabbat.

Duke Mortimer
Prince of the vassal fief of Hertfordshire; Mortimer is old, cunning and vicious. He was brought to heel by Mithras centuries ago, but now with Anne in power, he is eager to flex his muscles once more.
Current Status: DEAD, specifically, diablerised by Sam Hom. Mortimer had a private army in place and an agreement with the Sabbat to go over to their side, his actions caught up with him, however, and he has paid the price. Of late, however, Sam Hom has been having these insights into things…

Evelyn
Recent childe of Mortimer, his link to an understanding of the modern world.
Current Status: Captured and, apparently, mentally wiped, though perhaps not.

The other Evelyn
Grumpy, angry and a run away childe of Mortimer. She cannot remember her real name, she only knows that Mortimer stole many of her memories from her.
Current Status: Makes her haven in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, as far as anyone knows, she is still there, being grumpy, though the recent death of her sire may change that…

Seung, AKA the Iron Maiden
Childe of Marquis Blackthorn, Seung is of Asian descent, though little of her past is actually known. What is known is that she is vicious, nasty, intelligent and has, to date, two childer. One of whom is Sam Hom, the other of whom is Lilah. Her current relationship with her sire is one of Cold War: he runs the Crazy Dragons of the Western Sea whilst she has her Regal Tigers. China town and the crime around that area are divided up between them: he has drugs and people smuggling, while Seung has gun running and protection.
Current Status: Seung has managed to gain control of the Eye of Ishmael and it has warped her body, posssibly due to her recent diabelrie of The Good Doctor.

UPDATE: Seung is now dead, seriously wounded by Coban Warchild, and finally killed by her own childe, Sam Hom.
Lord Tobias
Last of the Old Era Ventrue.
Lord Tobias makes his haven in Hampton Court Palace, the grounds of which he has not left in nearly two centuries. He survived the Blitz, he survived the Anarch revolt… he has survived it all and he will certainly survive that jumped up bitch Anne… Tobias is completely cut off from the modern world, not that he cares, he just embraces a different mortal every century to handle his affairs outside of his haven. Currently his blood bonded brood numbers seven vampires of varying ages and power and numerous ghouls, all living within Hampton court Palace. It is a wonder no one has found him out, but he is constantly bailed out by his other supporters, who like to see him as a symbol of what was once great about Clan Ventrue. Blackthron is an old rival, and the two are effectively in stalemate: Blackthorn knows he could wipe out Tobias, but would it be worth the effort? Tobias himself happily sits back and lets his numerous influences grow, tended by his childer.
Current Status: Active, and willing to talk to the Sabbat…

Frater Islington
Guardian of Knowledge and his Master's blood
A former monk of the Benedictine order, Islington was embraced shortly before the War of Princes period, at the height of the Long Night. A former ally to Lord Camden and his master, Prince Mithras; it is Frater Islington's current task to ensure that the Ambers are kept in good health and don't harm anybody. Islington has a strong scholing in the occult and a good mastery of the death magics of the Cappadocians.
Current Status: Islington spends his time reading, writing and studying the occult. He has a great deal of actual personal power, but little in the way of influence. Most of the younger vampires in the city have not even heard of him. He has recently moved his base of operations to the Tower of London and keeps the Ambers there.

The Ambers
Dread Children
Mithras once embraced a capable huband and wife team of nobles, seeking to use their powerbase. Their tranformation was dissapointing, however, and the pair soon fell close to the beast through their debaunchery. A dissapointed Mithras simply dissowned them, though he still protected them from any danger their stupidity might have brought upon themselves.
Current Status: With Mithras gone, the Ambers have lost much of their protection. Frater Islington has taken them in and keeps them from harm. He also keeps them from leaving his house and generally makes sure that theya re safe. He is aided by Derek Lee, childe of Jonathan Vane.

Darro
A conservative Ventrue elder and Keeper of the British Museum Elysium. Darro generally keeps himself out of the politics of the city, prefering to spend his time in remembrance of the glories of yesteryear.
Current Status: Darro is busy guarding his Elysium from the Sabbat

Count Fyodor, the White Russian
A refugee from the Communist uprisings in Russia at the beginning of the 20th Century, Fyodor has been in London a long time. Originally sponsored by Lord Tobias, the Russian is a strong supporter of the elder. When the Brujah Stansilav came to London, he incurred Fyodor's wrath, but was protected from it by Blackthorn, seeking to snub Tobias through Fyodor.
Current Status: Fyodor serves Tobias as his war advisor.
