         HOWDY!

Just a quick note to those of you who are curious about our group name or those that don't understand the correct spelling and meaning behind it.  It's actually very important to get it right.

Seems a lot of people misspell our group name (they have been since we began many years ago) and I guess that comes with having a moniker that isn't widely used, known or understood.

The derogatory term "Law Dog" was given to the Earps by the Cowboys (and others) and it refers to a man who works in law enforcement.  The PERIOD CORRECT term is spelled "LAW DOG".  They are TWO SEPARATE WORDS and authentic when spelled correctly.

NOT:
Law Dawgs
Lawdawgs
Lawdogs
Law Dawgz (word to your mother, yo.)

Also, for those of you out there that are spelling and grammar nuts (like me) we are aware that the "N" in the middle of our group name SHOULD show like this: 'N' and not the current 'N.  If you have too much punctuation peppering a logo or name, it looks crowded and clustered so we kept the extra apostrophe off.

With all of that being said, I believe I have answered one of our most "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ)!

Thanks for listening,

CHEERS!

Kate
