A HUGE Honor at the 125th Anniversary of the OK Corral Event for Our VIRGIL EARP (Daryl Chamberlain)! Randy Templin, from C. S. Fly’s is owner of one of the ORIGINAL Marshal Fred White badges and asked our Virgil to be the recipient of the honor of pinning the original badge on him. On Sat. Oct.28, 2006 during the 125th Anniversary Celebrations in Tombstone , in a white glove ceremony, Randy pinned the badge on Virgil. Randy chose Virgil because he felt, after knowing him for a couple of years, typified his idea of the real Virgil Earp, who would have received the badge after Marshal Fred White was accidentally shot by Curly Bill, October 28, 1889, almost a year prior to the gunfight. Virgil was honored and flattered.
