Hey Koolkat, ...man your costing me a fortune!! everytime i log on to odd
sky i always hear stuff i have to own, Jean luc ponty, djam karet, acoustic

I'm gonna re-mortgage my house so keep it up.
            Cheers Leen.

Hey, Steve!  Just wanted to inform you that the Lex Rex CD reached me
down here at Guatemala City just three minutes ago, in perfect condition
as well!  Man, this really made my day.  I'm already listening to it,
and I'll add that so far it rocks.  Really grateful down here, Steve.
 Rock on!

-Saul

p.s. - If you feel it's appropriate, feel free to remail my response to
everyone in the group, so everyone can see that you're the real deal.
 Thanks a lot Steve!

Hi Koolkat!  I just found your live365 radio station and thought it'd be awesome if you'd play Maxwell's Demon.  They have one album out, called "Prometheus", that Wayside and Laser's Edge, among others, raved about!  Their second album is in the works (I'm taking a break from writing it to write this message 8-).  OK, so I'm a little biased.  I'm the keyboardist of the group.  Still, we have a terrific sound and great 20th Century compositional skills that I believe your listeners would really enjoy.  Check out some sample mp3s at www.maxwellsdemon.com.

Thanks for maintaining a killer station, and keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Craig.

Hi Koolkat,   Great station Kk, I'm listening to it now for the first time.  I also joined your group yesterday.  I hope I win the IZZ disc.  Anyway, I'm wondering if you ever heard of Alaska.  They're a symph-prog band from Dunmore, PA, just minutes from my humble abode.  They played Progday and Nearfest so you're probably familiar with them.  If you have their CD, can you play some tracks.
                      Thank You Kk

Hi there, i checked out your website after being impressed with the radio on
365, and i'm always on the hunt for new prog stuff and i liked the sound of
frogg cafe. Being in the UK its hard to get some of the more unusual stuff
unless you know where to go.
Can you help me out? as in websites, online stores or links? Also Heard a
clip of izz, sounds kool!!...same again dunno where to get it.Cheers for any
help.

              Leen.
Hey!  Excellent!  I believe I can honestly say I've never won anything
before in my life!  Heh heh, this is so cool!

OK, right now I'm between addresses, can I get back at you in a couple
of days (not later than Friday) so I can give you my new address?

Thanks a lot, Koolkat.  You rock, and your station rocks!

Hi Steve ... yep ... KOOL! ... wasn't aware of MSN's groups ... some nifty features that aren't on Yahoo.  Somehow, in the wonderful world of the internet aether and progilicious programming, I missed your site.  BUT ... I've already enrolled.

Thanks ...

Scott (aka BigMagumba)

HEY HOW DOES A PERSON GET  A STATION GOING, LIKE YOURS? CAN YOU THROW ME A
ROUGH IDEA OF COST AND HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT  ENTAIL? MUCH APPRECIATED.
KEN

PS: KEEP UP THE GREAT SOUNDS!

Kenneth Kling

i like your style. i had you on my 365 preset but hadn't listened--shows
you define yourself well.
well you are so on target with my taste. it is refreshing.

just a note to let you know.

podakayne

ps. i know this group isn't exactly prog but if you get a chance (or i
can get it converted) tell me about "Randy Pie"
i heard one song by they called "time machine" a joc in chicago named
saul use to play a wide variety of what was then "experimental"
music--that was early 70's. anyway if you can get a listen to them you
may like them.

shame i can't get you through the firewall at work! this could really
boost my creativity!

Hey Steve,

Really enjoying Odd Sky on live365. Big prog fan. Would love to hear any tracks from Ancestral Voyage from DreamShip (www.dreamship.org). Really great duo (and a cool story). Check them out.

Thanks,

John

blew me away!!, but as always my searches come up with nowt!.....again,
where do i get it?.
              Cheers Leen.

Hey Kool,

Just a note to say, "Kick ASS!!"  Great stuff!!  My ex didn't get it (Prog Rock, that is) either.  But that's why she's an ex...ha!  Anyhow, we prog-freaks are out here and this is a great way to connect...THANKS A MARILLION!! (i mean, A MILLION)

Some of the groups are kind of new to me...I'm an old guy from the day of ELP and Genesis (Gabriel era).  Would it be possible to post some tidbits about some of the hard-to-find groups featured like where to see them, website links, etc.  thanks.
Later,
dave
Hey Steve, Thanks man. It worked, I'm using windows media player and
enjoying "Silent Inferno" from UTF right now...  woo hoo!! Kool indeed.

Man, I'd never heard "Echoes" before on radio!  This really rocks!  Keep
up the good work (and play more Floyd =).

-saul

thanks steve, been listening to Live365 as much as i can...really been digging the flower kings and spock's beard...great stuff...marillion is another that i've been wanting to check out...known about them for years but my marriage vows didnt state anything about "listening to prog-rock in sickness and in health"..haha...well, take it easy and give the screws back to your boss "Get 'Em out by Friday"..later, dave
Hi Steve!  Like I said last time, I love your station!  It's the only
one I listen to.  I have one question for you: do you happen to have the
list of songs that you play?  The song's name doesn't always appear on
my XMMS player, and I have heard some definitely kick-ass songs that I'd
really love to know who the artist is!  So, it would be cool if you
could post the songlists you play on your site.

Oh, one more thing: I just read about your divorce.  I hope you bounce
back pretty quickly, as I know first hand how ugly that can get.  Hang
in there, and whenever you feel down, try to put a smile on your face by
thinking of all the people that just love your station!

- Saul

Dear Steve,

Thanks for the great radio that you make.
I listen to it everyday.
I live in Belgium and I go once a month to Athens in Greece.
The first thing that I do is plug into the internet on koolkat2.
It makes me feel back home again.

Thank you for that.

Regards,

Joris

Hey Steve,

Tuned into the show this evening - very nice indeed!  I've added "Transatlantic" to my list of bands that I just gotta hear more of.  Dude, a request!  How about something from The Muffins latest, Bandwidth?  Some real good stuff here!

Thanks,
Kara Williamson

  Steve:

Oh.  My.  God.

Just discovered the odd sky on live365.  It's on now.  It'll be on at work tomorrow.  It'll be on this weekend.  Etc.

Keep up the fabulous work.  No huge request list... there are so many pleasant surprises... but how about Mike Oldfield's "Windchimes Pts I & II" (from Islands).  Of course, I have it on CD, so if I really need that gamelan fix.......

PS: The Flower Kings rule.

Wow, winning the contest is outtahand, great!!!  Thank you Koolkat!  I'm looking forward to listening to IZZ.  I'm  really  not that familiar with them, but I believe I heard a track or two on your great station which I listen to every night.  Problem is, Koolkat, that I want almost everything you play.  I feel my wallet getting lighter.......hahaha!  If I get to go to Nearfest I'll look for you. I don't have a ticket, but I know Rob L, the producer of the event.  Hopefully he'll get me in somehow.  Oh yah, thanks for letting me know in your last email that you'll play some Alaska for me.  Anyway if I end up at Nearfest look for me, I'm a short fat guy that will probably be seen around Rob.  Thanx Again, here's my snail mail:

                                   Ken Wandalowski

Koolkat,
You're occasionally playing a song titled "Merit Hemmingsson -  Carpe Diem : The Flower Kings"
What is this?  I can't find this anywhere in The Flower Kings catalog...what is it and where can I get it from?
