Story of a Dublin woman recently widowed with 7 children. She has a market stall which is presumably based on Moore Street, Dublin. Tom Jones makes a cameo appearance. The movie is absolutely hysterical. Angelica Huston plays the lead and is very impressive as an Irish woman. The supporting cast is superb and reminds of many happy holidays in Dublin with my grandparents.

Actually takes place on an island off the coast of Ireland in a small town. When 2 older gents discover that someone in their town has won the ireland national lottery and set out to find out who.. Ned devine is the one but he had a heart attack and died infront of the tv when he had discovered that he had won. The 2 men and the town decide they are going to try to get the winnings and thats when the comedy ensues! It is great fun and the soundtrack is wonderful as well.
