My name is Philip and together with my then partner, Siobhan, I started putting together this community about mid - 2000.  My concept was to make as much ancestral information available to as many people as possible in order to help us honour our ancestors.  As somebody who lives on a shoestring, I have had to do this on very limited resources yet I feel that this has not hindered me too much.  It is my dream that one day through the internet we may give to those who went before us the respect and recognition which they deserve.

I dedicate this site to the promotion and encouragement of Irish genealogy and in our own way try and help those researching the Irish Ancestral Past. Above all, I dedicate this work to my own parents who have gone to prepare a place for me in our ancestral halls You are invited to join this community and share photos, documents and stories relating to Irish history, culture and ancestry.
