The Regulated Industries Complaints Office (RICO) is committed to assisting the public through education and enforcement of the state's licensing laws for certain professions. You can check to see if your area of complaint is covered by RICO by reviewing the boards and programs licensed by DCCA's Professional and Vocational Licensing Division (PVL). RICO also administers the State Certified Arbitration Program (SCAP) for “lemon” vehicles. Need to know if your contractor or other professional is licensed? Need information on a business's or individual's prior complaints? Do you want to know who the officers are for a corporation? Do you need to file a complaint? Do you think your car is a lemon? Need assistance with a landlord-tenant issue?
