Here is a run-down of each episode from Godzilla: The Series. Click here to buy the episodes on DVD and VHS. *1. New Family -- Part 1: Just when the first Godzilla is destroyed, another one is born. Dr. Nick Tatopoulos develops a bond with his new Godzilla, although Hicks is torn between the new creature of listening to Nick and letting it live. Audrey and Animal are trying to understand Nick and get the story of a lifetime.
*2. New Family -- Part 2: In the wake of Godzilla's apparent death, HEAT travels to Jamaica to investigate giant squid attacks, only to discover that a huge crab- like monster ("Crustaceous Rex") is creating all the havoc. Godzilla and this new monster must battle to save the day.
*3. D.O.A.: HEAT team travels to a small Central American republic to investigate a giant rampaging Earthworm. There, Godzilla is hit with an experimental biological weapon by the local military and an over-zealous General Albondiga. Godzilla destroys the monster and Craven regains his confidence.
*4. Talkin' Trash: A Nanotech-driven, petroleum-eating microbe colony that is developed by Dr. Hoenikker, is prematurely used by Dean Whithead to solver New York City's refuse problem, but it evolves and grows out of control -- forcing Godzilla and HEAT to destroy the creature by infecting the microbe with a computer virus.
*5. The Winter of our Discontent: Nick is reunited with an old college rival, Cameron Winter, who has created Cybernetic Flying Attack Drones as bait for Godzilla. Randy is tricked into hooking up a
Cybernetic (Neural Stimulator) control unit to Godzilla, allowing Winter free reign on Godzilla. The HEAT team rallies together to stop Winter and his diabolical plan.
6. Cat & Mouse: When a huge mutant sewer rat appears from the bowels of Manhattan, HEAT and Godzilla attempt to destroy it. Unfortunately, Godzilla's efforts and destroying NYC as well. While Hank, Dale and Bill (a group of redneck poachers) get into the act in order to win the trophy of Godzilla's head.
*7. Leviathan: HEAT is drawn to the bottom of the ocean to investigate the disappearance of Dr. Alexander Preloran's research team. There, HEAT find an ancient alien spacecraft complete with real-live aliens, but protected by aquatic dinosaurs (Crytopocledius).
*8. What Dreams May Come: The HEAT team is challenged when a gigantic, humanoid-shaped energy monster (The Crackler) attacks part of NYC by firing electrical blasts as a weapon against Godzilla and everything in its path. It appears that the monsters is fueled by the subconscious Theta waves from a mysterious man named Walker.
9. Hive: Stranded on a remote island, HEAT team and Godzilla battle a hive of gigantic mutated bees, who can fire their stingers at any target. In addition to having to fight off the mutant man-eating plant vines all over the island, the team must still contend with the enormous 20-foot Queen Bee.
*10. Bird of Paradise: A giant flying lizard (Quetzalcoati) with is napalm fire-breathing abilities, emerges from a dormant volcano in Souther Mexico, and begins destroying local villages. The HEAT team is called into action by Omithologist Lawrence Cohen, who turns out to be Elsie's ex-fiance. They soon discover the Quetzalcoati is actually nesting and her eggs are about to hatch, only to unleash dozens of ferocious baby mutant monsters.
*11. Monster War -- Part 1: With Elsie's surreptitious help, Hicks finds and extracts the alien spacecraft from the bottom of the ocean (from "Leviathan"). Tension and friction between HEAT and Hicks escalates. Meanwhile in Africa, a giant, earth-shattering Bat, with huge jaws, is on the loose.
*12. Monster War -- Part 2: Tracking the Giant Bat, HEAT discovers Cryptocledius, one of the aquatic dinosaurs surrounding the alien spaceship, is alive and hungry. In addition, a Cyber Godzilla (C-G), a reanimated corpse of the first Godzilla, is created -- only new and improved, containing a mixed bag of reptilian and mechanical body parts. King Cobra, C-Rex, the Rat and Queen B resurface for a global return engagement. Using telepathy as their primary form of communication, the aliens download their brains into Dr. Sopler and Dr. Hoffman.
*13. Monster War -- Part 3: These monsters are attacking everywhere. While Godzilla is battling C-G in Washington, D.C., Nick and the HEAT team disrupt the Tachyon signals from the aliens and free the monsters from their mental hold. HEAT pilots an alien ship with Elsie's help to destroy the main generator at Site Omega.
*14. Competition: HEAT team travels to Japan, where they and Godzilla battle a huge white ape-like monster with claws (Giant Albino Yeti), only to find that it is really a robotic incarnation of the Yeti (Robo-Yeti), replete with rockets, cannons and high-voltage tendrils. Unbeknownst to HEAT, a gigantic, venom-spitting King Cobra is the true menace. Former foes, HEAT, Dr. Ifukube, Robo-Yeti and Godzilla combine forces.
*15. Freeze!: The HEAT team investigates the disappearance of a research team in the South Pole. Huge flesh-eating creatures with an incredible high metabolic rate and body temperatures called The Ice
Borers are actually to blame. Chad Gordon, a slick PR flack, with something to hide, puts a "spin" on the incident as the team does battle against the cold nemesis.
*16. Deadloch: HEAT team travels to Scotland's Pisces Institute, near Loch Ness. Apparently, Nessie is alive and attacking the Institute. Here, we also meet Institute Director Hugh Trevor, whom Elsie is
immediately attracted to. The HEAT team discover later (with the help of Godzilla) that the reason for the attacks was Nessie's baby was being held captive at the Institute by Hugh.
*17. Bug Out!: The HEAT team realizes that Godzilla is getting larger and more willful. Nick feels betrayed when Audrey uses this confidential information in her report, creating a serious rift between them. (Again? You would think she learned her slesson in the movie!) The team travels to the rainforest due to reports of huge mutated termites and their queen. Nick and Randy design a system of audio signals to create infighting within the termite lair.
*18. What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been: The HEAT team watches as Godzilla is seriously hurt while fighting an enormous spongy-green, mucous-covered monster (Bacillus). Nick and Monique must go inside Godzilla to eradicate bacteria and concoct an antibiotic to weaken the Bacillus so Godzilla can defeat him.
*19. Wedding Bells Blew: Elsie is all frazzled because her family (who doesn't know what type of assignment she is working on) is in town for her sister Kate's wedding. When a distress call comes from
the local aquarium, HEAT finds a gigantic, vulture-like Bird of Prey with super-cold breath on the hunt. Godzilla creates a huge whirlpool at sea which sucks the Bird in.
*20. Web Site: The HEAT team, primarily Craven, is working on a Sonic Signaler, a device which in theory will allow them to communicate with Godzilla. The HEAT team is mobilized to a Caribbean Island infested with spiders of every type, including a huge Tarantula leader. The team quickly discovers that a chemical derivative of the chrysanthemum is toxic to these deadly spider, while Godzilla battles the big spider.
*21. An Early Frost: It appears that Godzilla is rampaging and destroying New York City again. The government and the city want the creature destroyed, so they re-team Hicks and HEAT. Phillipe and his
government also wanted Godzilla eliminated, leaving Monique torn between sides. A huge, genetically engineered chameleon-like Behemoth is to blame for the havoc, with Cameron Winter responsible.
*22. Juggernaut: A mysterious object from outer space lands on Earth and fuses itself with any mechanical device within contact. It then becomes an 8-foot tall amalgam of electronic parts taking on anthropomorphic features (Techno-Sentient). HEAT is able to launch the creature into space and detonate the warheads it collected for mass destruction.
*23. Shafted: To drum up funding, HEAT team travels to Blind Rock, Wy., where they meet up with a 7-year-old hysterical Meg, who hasn't seen her brothers since they entered an old mine shaft earlier. While Monique plays baby-sitter, the team runs into a two-headed, regenerating 75-foot dragon-like
monster (Silver Hydra).
*24. Trust No One: In Brazil, HEAT investigates an abandoned laboratory, where years earlier scientists developed a protoplasmic blob of pure DNA capable of mimicking any living being by merely touching it. The Thing turns the HEAT team against each other in order to create a global, master race of mimic creatures. Godzilla attempts to do battle with The Thing, but it replicates into another all-powerful Godzilla.
*25. Lizard Season: Dale, Hank and Bill (the three hunters from "Cat & Mouse) are released from jail on bail that Cameron Winter puts up. He outfits the men with experimental tanks. In their quest of Godzilla, they are destroying everything in their path, including Hick's military.
26. The Ballad of Gens Du Marais: Covering Mardi Gras, Audrey and Animal interview Paul Dimanche, whose family is one of the oldest and wealthiest in the French Quarter. When Audrey discovers monster-like attacks in the city, she calls Nick and the HEAT team to investigate. It appears that Georges, the leader of another Dimanche family faction, has summoned a deadly Swamp Creature to destroy Paul.
*27. Ring of Fire: A fire erupts on an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico, from which the Creature of Living Flame emerges. HEAT and Godzilla battle this mighty foe, but the creature only gets bigger and more powerful with each of Godzilla's fiery blasts. Cutting off its fuel supply, the creature shrinks and is taken back to HEAT headquarters for further study, but again ends up out of control.
*28. Protector: In the Middle East, a team of archeological and restoration specialists are refurbishing an ancient, 15-foot high iron statue of a Sphinx. Without warning, the statue crumbles and a real, iron-skinned predatory feline emerges. The team battles the Sphinx and eventually re-oxidizes the monster back into its statue form.
29. Vision: In San Francisco, a giant, long-beaked Hummingbird suddenly appears and attacks planes. HEAT discovers that this species feeds off smog-like emissions and can cloak itself by using its fast wingspeed. Craven and Randy team up to build a visor for Godzilla to wear in order to destroy these invisible enemies. (EPISODE NEVER AIRED)
*30.Freak Show: A million-dollar capture bounty has been put on Godzilla's head by Theodore P. Bunkum and his Weird World of Wonders Show. To track down Godzilla, Bunkum unleashes his star attraction, Medusa, a 50-foot amphibious anemone with toxic tentacles and the ability to change from solid matter to liquid ooze.
*31.Metamorphosis: In Iowa, HEAT confronts Megaped, a gigantic centipede with sharpy barbed legs, stinging spurs and a blinding foam which he sprays at them. The creature soon thereafter transforms into Cicada, a huge mutant hybrid insect, which takes all the innovative efforts of HEAT and Godzilla to neutralize.
*32. Where is Thy Sting?: HEAT and Hicks discover that Col. Charles Thompson has been experimenting with genetic mutations as a weapon for the government. When these mutations become out of control, HEAT, along with Hicks, Godzilla and the military, do battle with the creatures, including a Giant Scorpion, whose tail spits out acid.
*33. Underground Movement: The HEAT team splits up to investigate strange mutant parasites in Florida and a Giant Mutant Fungus with amino acid sucking tentacles in Michigan. Eventually reuniting in Michigan, the entire group must pull together with Godzilla's help to destroy the fungus.
34. The Twister: HEAT teams encounters The Twister, a huge, mutant creature with the ability to suck up everything in its path. Hicks is not convinced that this is real, but just another force of Mother Nature.
HEAT decides to send Nick, armed with high-pressure packs, into the eye to The Twister, but when Godzilla tries to intervene, they both get sucked deep into the storm.
35. S.C.A.L.E. (Fist of Godzilla): While battling a mosquito-like insect, Godzilla is interrupted by the fanatical group, Fist of Godzilla, and their beautiful leader, Alexandra Hamilton. HEAT agrees to
accompany Hicks to Monster Island, a government area for captive mutations, and Audrey and Animal stow away on the trip. Fist of Godzilla takes over and releases the mutations, which leave little time for HEAT, Hicks and the military to regain control before they leave the island. (EPISODE NEVER AIRED)
*36. Future Shock: HEAT team is engulfed in a bizarre, tunnel-like storm. Once through, they discover they are 35 years in the future. New York City is a wasteland overrun by huge dragon-like mutations, created by a demented Dr. Insley. With (older) Craven's help, HEAT and Godzilla must go back in time to stop Dr. Insley's scheme.
*37. End of the Line: While on a vacation cruise, Nick and Audrey's ship is attacked by a giant reptilian creature. The two are washed ashore on a deserted island, only to confront a giant mutant snapping
turtle. Nick and Audrey are rescued by a huge lizard inhabitant on the island, a female with a nest of eggs. Hicks arrives to destroy both creatures and the eggs, but not without a fight from HEAT and Godzilla.
*38. Area 51: HEAT team travels to Area 51 in Nevada to investigate a strange, huge eyeball. There they meet military spokeswoman and chief scientist Candace, along with Thorny Devil -- a 200-foot lizard-like creature with razor-sharp spike on its back and head that can be fired out like javelins.
