Griffontastic ~ Entertainment ~

Active or passive

  • Our griff loves Lady and the Tramp. After he realized that Lady wasn't going to come out of the speakers or the back of the television, he settled down to watch the entire cartoon.

  • Animal Planet is another griff favourite
  • toys: fuzzy like a hedgehog, rabbit, ropey carpety type things.
  • We bought a kiddie animal cartoon video for his Christmas gift.
  • hide goodies in your flat and let them search for them! ~ Angelika

Toys ~ Have you noticed how some stores put candies at children's eye level? A petstore places dog toys at doggy eye level.

I didn't consider it a problem until recently. Our griff had never picked out a toy before. He pulled out a rabbit and carried it off down the aisle. Of course he got the one he wanted . . . this time.

We were going to save the rabbit toy for Christmas. Not a chance! Our griff remembered about it as soon as we got home. He sniffed and poked, trying to open the correct bag that held his rabbit! Did we have the heart to take it away and save it for Christmas? :)

Toy & Goodies all in one:

My pup Jenna has one of those balls that roll around and drop food she adores it so long as food keeps coming out. She butts it with her head along the floor and then turns around and picks up all the food. she soon gives up when there is nothing in it but returns periodically to check up on it. ~~ nz griff

Agility in the home: About once a day, our griff loves us to create an agility course in our house for his few minute races. We move chairs and create little passageways for him to race through. He'll run, bark at us, then race some more. Even if he's been out hiking, he still loves his home racing when he returns.
