~ Griff Short Stories ~

Feb. 04 - - - - I would love to share two short stories...first one is about how my little Griffon, Tazzy who only weighs 9lbs. picks on our other dog which is a Giant Schnauzer that is 2 years old and weighs 112lbs.(Neka) She is a gentle giant and I can only hope she never gets upset at my little Tazzy!(3yrs) My second story is about the great healing my little Tazzy has done for me! I have MS so on times when I am not doing so well...I have to have some down time! My little girl is great to have in bed and just cuddle with...she is the best medicine I could have & emotionally very good for my state of mind!

Story: Jan 2002:
Inga, my Brussels, loves to taunt her older sister, a shihtzu named Kodiak. Inga will take steps like a stalking lion toward Kodiak until she has Kodiak's full attention. As soon as she has got it they have a face off for about 3 seconds and then she takes off like a bolt of lightning in the other direction while Kodiak chases her around the room. Of course, they make an obstacle course of the entire apartment until one catches the other and they roll around until they can get free and try it again.

Ideal Manager: Zorro seems to be an employer.
When Sissi got her birthday present, a ball to be
filled with treats that fall out of it when it's
rolled around, she tried to lick the goodies out and
gave up after a while. Berry managed to roll the
ball, but he didn't notice when the treats had
fallen onto the floor. Only Zorro didn't do any work
with the ball: He went after Berry and picked up the
goodies. Quite an employer! ~ Angelika

Share your short story, too!

I've come to know that Hector loves to rest his head somewhere higher than his body. Doing so, it is of no importance to him if it a smooth
pillow or a stone that is under his cheek. If there is nothing in sight
he can put his head on, he likes to press his head against a vertical
object; this might be a wardrobe, a wall . . . or my son's stereo tower.
When Hector is on his pillow in front of the tower, it always looks as
if he wanted to listen to the sounds the tower makes very carefully
because his head leaves no space to the tower. To his neverending
surprise the cassette deck opens after some time of that treatment: up to now he has not yet detected that he himself opens it by pressing the eject-button with his head! What a music loving guy he seems to be!
~ Angelika

Note: my griff boy loves his head to be higher too. He will rest on a pillow just like any human. If a pillow isn't around, his paws will do.
