What is Korean Horror DVD / VCD art?
It is DVD and VCD slipcases and clamshell sleeves that I have collected from around the world. In my collection is both licensed and black market releases.
Why collect Korean horror DVD / VCD artwork?
Simply put, I love the movies, and the original Korean artwork (posters, lobbycards, photos), that is created to promote these films. But what really fascinates me is how the artwork is used or often stolen by bootleggers throughout Asia, who then produce with it an unbelievable myriad of variant covers and gatefold slipcase designs that are sometimes surprisingly beautiful, or funny for their fake credits and stolen quotes from other films.
