ISRAEL MY BELOVED As one who loves and prays for Israel and her people I like to go "straight to the source" for my news. I'm including links to two Israeli newspapers and a couple of organizations that keep abreast of all that's going on and always have interesting articles to read. I'm also including links to many other sites and informative articles. Shalom! Links Think-Israel is a great website full of articles and background info on Israel and the Middle East. Much food for thought. One of his books was the inspiration for the title of this webpage! You wilt arise and have compassion on Zion; for it is time to be gracious to her, for the appointed time has come. Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stones, and feel pity for her dust. So the nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the LORD has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory. Psalm 102:13-16 Articles (An animated version of the story) A longer but very good explanantion of Israel's claim to the land by Reuven Doron. Many Muslims are finding their Messiah! (This exciting article tells of many Palestinian/Israeli Muslims finding the Messiah and of the persecution they face because of their decision to follow him.) | The following quotation by the Philosopher Martin Niemoller is written at the entrance of Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem, and is very relevant today: "In Germany, they first came for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Catholic. Then they came for me, and by that time there was nobody left to speak up." | For more articles and discussion concerning Israel come to my messageboards.
