Day is done,

gone the sun,

from the lakes

from the hills

from the sky,

all is well,

safely, rest,

God is near.

 

Fading light,

Dims the sight,

And a star gems the sky

Gleaming bright,

From afar,

Drawing, near,

Falls the night.
