Welcome to the Delta Secondary School Alumni site!
It was great to see everyone at the school's 75th Anniversary celebrations in May, 2000! Many people expressed an interest in a way to get in touch and stay in touch with other alumni. Hopefully this website will be able to accomplish this task.
Please note that this community is completely free-of-charge and is maintained by a former Delta graduate.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE: WAY TO GO!! We have recently welcomed our 522nd alumni member! Thank you so much for sharing this community with those you are still in contact with. It is amazing to hear all the stories about how this community is reuniting old friends who have lost contact over the years.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:
IMPORTANT RE: MEMBERSHIP: We have recently had several instances of alumni requesting membership but providing an invalid email address with their request (we presently have over 30 people who have applied for membership and have not replied to the request for information email from the site manager in order to have their membership approved). Unfortunately, we cannot approve membership without a valid email address as your authorization cannot be emailed back to you. We regret to advise that membership requests which do not provide a valid email address will be denied. If your mailbox is full, it will show undeliverable and the membership will automatically be denied. If you feel your membership was denied in error, please ensure your mailbox is not full, and re-request membership. We have also had several email messages sent from the site manager or other members which have been returned as "undeliverable/invalid email address". In this case, without a valid email address on file, membership of current members will show as inactive and membership may be cancelled. Please ensure you keep your information up to date (and that the "allow members to see my email address" is checked on) as that is the only way you can be contacted! Please read the Terms of Use below and the FAQ page for further information.
In order to be able to contact, or be contacted by, your former classmates and/or other alumni in this community, you will need to:
(1) register with this community (please ensure you provide a valid email address or your registration cannot be accepted),
AND
(2) add your information to the "Alumni List" within fourteen days of membership approval.
The Contact List is a separate list from the member list, containing additional information you may wish to provide to others. It is imperative that at least your "real name" and "years attended" are provided on the Alumni Contact List, as it will become necessary to facilitate searching as membership increases. In order to ensure that this community is being used strictly by Delta Alumni , members who do not provide their information on the Alumni Contact List within fourteen (14) days of membership approval may be removed from the community. Providing any further information on the Alumni List is optional. (Please read Confidentiality Notice below)
Please note that the community manager does her very best to process membership requests in a timely manner. Membership requests will typically be processed within ten days, but more often than not they will be processed within a day or two of receiving your request. Confidentiality Notice and Terms of Use: (1) We will never sell, or intentionally provide in any other way, any of your personal information, including e-mail address to anyone, ever.
(2) Please be aware that the Member List (which provides only your e-mail address [and bio if you have added one]) is accessible by members only, but the Alumni List may be viewed by visitors to this community. We have inquired as to how we can make this information inaccessible to visitors and the only way is to make the community "private". This sounded like a viable alternative, except that anyone could apply to become a member and claim to be an alumnus, even if they are not. Unfortunately we do not have a complete list of alumnus that we could check each registration against, so this would be impossible to monitor. Therefore, please do not enter any information to the Alumni List which you do not want available to the general public.
(3) Bulk e-mailing (spamming) will not be tolerated in this community. Please report any abuse of this community to the community manager here.
(4) PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MODERATED COMMUNITY AND IS RATED "ALL AGES". In this regard, messages containing inappropriate language, racist remarks or slurs, or those otherwise deemed inappropriate or in poor taste by the site manager will be deleted.
(5) Abuse of membership privileges, including those mentioned above in items 3 and 4, will result in appropriate action being taken including, but not limited to, revocation of membership, and may include legal action.
