In the past, people have not been able to join this community because either their system would not let them or they simply did not know how. So here are a few steps that will get you somewhat closer to David! Somewhat close? Perhaps. Dangerously close? WE WISH!

First of all, you should go to www.hotmail.com and get an account started there. Don't worry, you don't have to use that account; you just need the passport that is included with the account. Create a user name and password. You will need this when you decide to join this community.

Come back over to this site and click "Join this community," located to the right of the picture of the week. It will take you to a sign-in page where you are asked to enter your user name and password that you registered at Hotmail. Upon entering that information, you will be prompted to choose a nickname for the community. Please note that your nickname does not have to be anything related to your email address at Hotmail. Your nickname will be what you will be called when you participate in this community. So, choose your nickname, read the code of conduct (does anyone really do that?), and agree to it, and you will instantly become a bona fide Raver!

Over the course of time, you'll get to know all of us here. If you ever have a question about anything Bowie, don't hesitate to email the resident Bowie gurus, StardustGrrl and Georgi, by clicking "E-mail your members" and choosing "Managers of this community" in the drop-down box.
